What is World Assignment?

World Assignment is an unprecedented B2B service offering image buyers in the editorial, advertising and corporate fields a smart search engine allowing them to view portfolios from worldwide agencies, collectives and agents.

Does World Assignment have competitors?

No, World Assignment doesn’t have competitors.

On the one hand, agencies have websites where clients can browse portfolios. However, the search engine specifically designed for World Assignment allows clients to enter criteria matching their specifics needs for an assignment. Our core business criteria span whereabouts, equipment, visas, category of photography, awards, frequent clients, etc...

On the other hand, directories list names, locations, and sometimes websites. But again, clients can't cross-search. Moreover, World Assignment, open exclusively to professional photographers represented by agencies, agents, collectives, guarantees the accuracy of the information provided online and the portfolios’ authenticity.

Who can subscribe to World Assignment?

All professionals Image buyers in editorial, advertising, corporate, and P.R agencies who need to commission photographers for a specific job, wherever they are based in the world.

Stock or editorial agencies, collectives, co-operatives, photographer or videographer agents, wherever they are based in the world.

A photographer represented by an agency, an agent, a collective, or you are a staff photographer under contract with a media, or a professional photography studio.

Can an independant photographer subscribe?

Only photographers represented by an agency, agent or media can subscribe to World Assignment.

We are not qualified to validate photographers. Therefore and in order to ensure clients access to the highest quality, we need them to be validated by their representative.

How do i subscribe? How long does the subscription service last?

Simply by clicking on the Subscribe link on the top of the page, and filling in some basic company information.?

Image producers will then receive a contract to sign.

Image buyers will have immediate access if payment is made online by credit card. If payment is made by cheque or bank wire, a short delay will occur.

All subscriptions are one year long and are tacitly renewed, unless terminated by either party.

Do i pay monthly or yearly? In what currency?

Image producers pay monthly.
Image buyers pay yearly.
When subscribing, all users choose their currency which is valid until termination of the contract.

What are the payment methods?

Payments can be made either by credit card online, by cheque or by bank wire.

Is the payment by credit card secure?

We have chosen one the leading players in the European payment services market. Its experience and highly reliable solutions such as the 3D secure integration process (Verified by Visa, MasterCard Secure Code et JCB J/Secure) offer our clients higher protection again online frauds.

Can i share my password?

You don't have to share your password. As an account holder, you can create as many users as you need, each with its login and password.

Please note that anytime a user is sending an assignment request or creating a portfolio, the main administrator's account is debited.

How do i recover my lost password?
